Delegates may also be in time to catch the beginning of
the colourful Mid-Autumn or Lantern Festival. It is held on the 15th day
of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, when the moon is at
its fullest and brightest.

Singapore is a very clean and safe country. Food and tap
water is safe for consumption. Singapore has remained vigilant against SARS and has strong and effective procedures in place.
